Rated 99/100 by Parker, the 2016 Red Southern Australia Grange is an impressive and sculptural wine. True to the style that forged its legend, aged 100% in new American barrels, it develops intense youthful flavors of cedar, vanilla, coconut and black fruits. Magnificently concentrated, the palate takes up this toasted and fruity tone, with silky tannins, a nice freshness and a long finish. Its potential is of course phenomenal, the question is just to know if you will enjoy it more after 30 or 40 years…!Vinification:
