Wine:

With ripe, intense flavors of fruit, the 2018 Red Moulin-à-Vent Hommage has full flavors of morello cherry, black cherry and spice. The palate is concentrated and pure, carried by fine tannins and a good density. The whole is ready for 5 to 6 years of cellaring and already enjoyable with a lamb chop or a roasted poultry. Rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, totally de-stemmed, alcoholic fermentation in concrete vats, aged for 14 months in oak barrels and demi-muids then in concrete vats for 6 months.

Color:

Red of beautiful intensity with crimson reflections.

Nose:

Marked by delicious aromas of black cherry and Morello cherry, highlighted by spicy notes.

Palate:

Pure and concentrated with fine tannins, this wine of good density delivers an intense and fruity taste, a real treat!

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Red meat on the grill, roast poultry with simple juice, lamb chop, hard cheeses.
