Wine:Fruity but without exuberance, in a beautiful aromatic purity, the 2019 White Pessac-Léognan Pessac by VALAP delivers itself on fine exotic notes of passion fruit, and a touch of grapefruit. The whole is very fragrant, intense and very fresh. The palate is very pure, with a good amplitude and a nice richness. It is a dry, balanced, ripe and fresh white wine, with a good persistence of flavors. A very nice wine to be enjoyed as an aperitif, with a seafood platter or pan-fried prawns.
Vinification:Mechanical harvesting. Vinification 100% in vats. No ageing.
Color:Pale yellow, crystalline, silver reflections.
Nose:Beautiful aromatic expression with fine exotic notes reminiscent of passion fruit mixed with accents of grapefruit and floral touches of wisteria.
Palate:Intense and juicy with ripe and fresh aromas fruit. Very pure, this dry, salivating and digestible wine reveals itself with a good amplitude, a controlled richness and a great persistence of flavors.
Temperature:Serve between 10 and 12°C.
Food and wine pairing:Aperitif, seafood platter, pan-fried prawns, a theme of fresh and semi-dried goat cheese.
