Made from 2.75 hectares of Chardonnay, the 2020 white Meursault Clos de Mazeray is a Prieur family monopole aged in barrels, foudres, and some concrete balls. It is a brilliant white wine with a touch of gunflint, toasted hazelnut, and acacia honey that slides into a beautiful tension. Both delicate and consistent, with fine mineral bitters on the finish, it offers immediate pleasure without any simplism. Superb! Rated 92-93/100 by the Committee.
