Wine:

With beautiful fullness and consistency, the 2020 white Condrieu De Poncins offers the full extent of its potential in this complete vintage. This fiery terroir, located 300 meters above Chateau Grillet, produces a very pure, beautifully mature, full-bodied, and precise wine. With a beautiful volume of palate, notes of toast and ageing, a very interesting relief, it unfolds with ease and freshness, stretched by delicate bitters. A great Condrieu that will keep well, rated 94/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, direct pressing, fermentation in barrels with indigenous yeasts, aged 11 months in barrels (30% in new barrels and 70% in 3-5 year old barrels) on lees + 7 months in stainless steel tanks, without racking, with stirring once a week for 6 months. Bottling in February 2022.
