Wine:

A blend of the estate's different parcels in the appellation on narrow, steep terraces, the 2020 Red Côte Rôtie Mon Village is a perfect model of ripe and charming Syrah, already accessible in its youth. The estate's signature wine, it once again offers, in this fine vintage, the quintessence of this prized terroir: juicy, finely spiced fruit, balance and a slender, generous body. An elegant version of Côte Rôtie that should be enjoyed quickly as it is the last batch still available.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, 20% whole grapes, cold maceration in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks, aged for 12 months in barrels.

Color:

Bright red of good intensity.

Nose:

Aromas of black fruits with a halo of fine spicy notes.

Palate:

Generous, juicy and spicy, this bottle is a mature and charming syrah that will seduce you by its great precision.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Game, wild duck with celery and black truffles, a beautiful rib of beef from Salers or Charolais.
