An original alliance of tempranillo (95%) and merlot, the 2014 Red Valbuena 5 año is a micro-selection of the estate's best parcels, vinified and aged in wood. A spectacular year, 2014 is powerful, reminiscent of the terrific 2010 vintage. Floral, black fruit, herbs and spice notes combine in an elegant, powerful yet refined and extremely nuanced texture. Vinification:

Hand harvested, plot by plot vinification, aged in French and American barrels for two years, then three years of aging in bottles before marketing.

Deep ruby color with carmine glints.
