A small wonder of Piedmont, aged for three years, 18 months of which are in barrels, the 2019 Red Barolo Terra offers a faithful reading of the appellation. Intensely fruity, with flavors of red berries and violets and a slight hint of toast and cocoa, it unfolds a beautiful, full and suave body carried by a Nebbiolo at its best. A bottle to be served slightly chilled and to be enjoyed within 4 years with roast poultry or a mozzarella and black truffle pizza.Vinification:
Hand harvested from vines located between 250m and 400m of altitude. Vinification in stainless steel vats. Aged for 24 months in 5000 liter tuns and 225 liter barrels.Color:
Intense red, brilliant, with brick reflections.Nose:
Intense, marked by aromas of Morello cherry at first nose, with aeration, notes of dried flowers and violet are revealed.Palate:
The first impression is pure and straightforward, with a tapered texture that underlines the delicate, coated tannins. Subtle woody notes deliver a delicate wine. A velvety Barolo.
