Wine:

The 2020 red Bandol showcases masterful balance in this celebrated vintage. The wine benefits from perfect extraction, revealing aromas of black fruits, wild blackberry, licorice, and truffle, all underscored by noble, precisely adjusted oak. The complexity and charm continue through a meticulously crafted and intricate profile, worthy of this exceptional vintage. The palate impresses with its precision, the sculpting of its tannins, and the noble texture of the expertly handled Mourvèdre. Fresh and dense, with a finish marked by radiant bitterness, this wine has the balance to age gracefully over one or even two decades for those patient enough. Vinification:

Hand-harvested, aged for 18 months in oak casks, then in underground cellars.

Nose:

An aromatic bouquet opening onto notes of truffles, wild blackberries, black licorice and well-mastered ageing. A wine of great purity, care and complexity.

Palate:

This wine seduces us with its straightforwardness, the curvature of its tannins and the noble texture of the Mourvèdre so well crafted. Its freshness, density and balance make this cuvée well-suited to long ageing.

Temperature:

Decant before serving, between 16 and 18°C.
