Wine:

The 2020 red Bandol showcases masterful balance in this celebrated vintage. The wine benefits from perfect extraction, revealing aromas of black fruits, wild blackberry, licorice, and truffle, all underscored by noble, precisely adjusted oak. Vinification:

Hand-harvested, aged for 18 months in oak casks, then in underground cellars.

Very dark red, very slight garnet tint, brilliant.

Nose:

An aromatic bouquet opening onto notes of truffles, wild blackberries, black licorice and well-mastered ageing. A wine of great purity, care and complexity.

Palate:

This wine seduces us with its straightforwardness, the curvature of its tannins and the noble texture of the Mourvèdre so well crafted. Its freshness, density and balance make this cuvée well-suited to long ageing.

Temperature:

Decant before serving, between 16 and 18°C.
